A scar means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you. I have it tattooed on my bicep for 3 years now, as a constant reminder that I am always bigger and better than what life throws at me. In my short life, I’ve almost died twice.
I’ve had cancer (leukemia) and meningitis, which almost caused me to lose a leg. When people see me and I tell them my story, they never believe me because I don’t look like someone who’s conquered all those trials.
And really that’s the biggest compliment somebody can give to me. Every bad situation brings forward something better. So I really love and enjoy my life, every minute of every day because life can be short and you never know what it can throw at you.
