For the past year I have been suffering from a multitude of autoimmune symptoms that seemed to be exacerbated by my full time work as a geologist. Though I had finally seen a doctor, I was ultimately initially misdiagnosed.
Six months later, my health was declining to the point that my entire family was worried for my long term livelihood. In the end, and through a very long search, it turns out I have Lyme Disease.
No one tested me for it because there is a common misconception that it is not prevalent in Southern California. I am now on full time disability, a strict regime of supplements and antibiotics, as well as an extremely strict diet.
I hope to help others suffering from this disease, especially those who were told there is no cure, through information posted on my blog zandratwin.com. I am also available to anyone with questions through my email zandratwin@gmail.com
