When I was younger I was embarrassed of being different. Skin color, a rare name, and a different culture were what defined me. As I have grown older I have realized that those things are what made me who I am and I shouldn’t be ashamed. I’m still figuring life out and get discouraged at times but I proud to say that I am trying my best.

Recently I began my Master’s degree in mental health counseling. I have always been that friend others come to when they need someone to talk to when life gets hard. Knowing that I will be able to give a glimmer of hope in a sea of negativity is so special to me.

In order relieve some stress from graduate school and life in general I recently launched my own personal fashion blog. It is still in the beginning stages but it is my source of expressing my individuality through my love for fashion.

I feel like things are finally falling into place for me and I couldn’t be happier.”
