There’s so much more to life then the current situation you may be going through. So much excitement and adventure that’s just waiting to be savored until the very last minute. But, certain situations cause us to forget about that. That’s what life will do to you sometimes. Throw you as many curve-balls, one after the other, without ever letting you get a hit.
The only way you’ll never get a hit, is if you stop swinging. Maybe we’re more afraid of how many curve-balls we’ll have to endure then the fear of actually striking out. If you strike out, you just try again. But how weary do you start to grow with every swing you see as a failed attempt? You start to think, “I’m not going to make it through.

I’ll just have to work extra hard. Maybe I’ll find something different. Is this really all there is?” But life has so much more to offer you. And believe it or not, you have a lot to offer life. Don’t be weighed down by the burdens of simply…existing. There’s only so much time you have on this Earth and even then, you don’t really know just how much. Take the chances, limit the fears instead of yourself. I know that’s easier said than done. But trying, itself, is a battle already won.
This is kind of embarrassing, but an example on my side is literally just going out dancing on a Friday night. The idea of going out in a social environment, specifically like a club, tends to give me some anxiety. However, recently I’ve been taking more chances and letting loose in a way that I’ve never done before. It’s freeing and a little scary all at the same time.
Its time for a change
But the end result is the same; gratification. I’ve always chosen to live vicariously through different networks for financial reasons and personal reasons… but I got (and get) so caught up in what I should do, what I can’t do, that I end up letting opportunity after opportunity to enjoy my life slip by. And I don’t want to do that anymore.
There has to be a balance between what you should do and what you can’t do. The best way to measure if you don’t have that balance is to stop and think of where you currently stand at the moment. If you feel like life is slipping past you because of fear, lack of confidence, financial strain, or whatever it may be, then it’s time for a change. All you gotta do is make it happen.
