Is it hard to believe I have so much to be thankful for this year? It seems unfair given how much suffering others have been through, they’re just waiting for it to end. I don’t blame them. We’ve all had to endure trials we weren’t sure we were going to come out of or experienced the absolute unexpected… but I can’t help but see the blessings in the midst of all that has happened.

  • During the entire Pandemic; I have not lost one single family member to COVID.
  • The members of my household have not stopped working since this whole thing began, which means we’ve never lost a single paycheck.
  • My family never had to be separated so we were together this whole year.

Even seasonal situations can bring with them lessons that last a lifetime.

Among other wonderful things that have happened which I will probably share for the new year, It would be ungrateful of me to complain for these miracles that unfortunately not many others can share with me. It’s heartbreaking to think what everyone around the world has been up against in different areas of their lives.

2020 is packed with so much… SO MUCH, that even though it’s easy to believe a lot can happen in a single year, looking back from the moment 2019 ended until now, it just seems surreal. Now I know some will disagree with my statements due to their beliefs or coping mechanisms when it comes to these situations, but I find comfort knowing that things always happen for a reason.

Your strength doesn’t come from winning. It comes from struggles and hardship. Everything that you go through prepares you for the next level.

Whether it be a reason I will never know, or be one I understand in time, it’s meant for me in one way or another. That’s how I look at everything I’ve been through. So, although there is much to be thankful for, I think one of the greatest is the lessons and the wisdom I’ve been able to acquire through my every day life.

I think 2020 has forced people to realize not only how resilient they are, but what power their voices have in this world. You don’t have to be famous or well-known or having helped an entire state to make an impact. The ability to make an impact can happen every day with someone or something.

Be thankful for the chaos because the hope behind it will always be revealed.

This year, the world needed healing along with the people and animals who reside in it. I’m thankful that through the years, I get to witness the beauty of what happens when humanity comes together to overcome the evils of this world. As hard as it may be, be thankful for the chaos because the hope behind it will always be revealed.

Happy Thanksgiving my loves!
