I used to hate brushing my teeth before bed when I was younger. Yes, I know that’s gross but it was just the idea of having to get out of bed once I was super comfortable and tired from the days activities to do an extra step that I can easily do the following morning that was extremely annoying.

My mom would have to be the one to force me to get my ass up from my bed as dramatic as that sounds lol. But yeah, it was something I didn’t like doing. Now that I’m older, especially in recent years, I’ve noticed just how many things I wish I wouldn’t have been so stubborn to just do as a child in terms of taking care of my body.

I wish I would’ve listened to those that knew better and would give me advice on how to take care of myself, for example, with my dry skin. You want to know how to cure dry skin?… For the most part, it’s as easy as just hydrating your skin with body lotion every day. Guess how long it took me to figure that one out *rolls eyes.* Guess how long I suffered with my dry skin for being stubborn and lazy. *eye roll and smh*

The same goes for my smile. I never had bad teeth to begin with, but they weren’t always the whitest either. Honestly, I’m surprised they aren’t as bad with how neglecting I’ve been with them my entire youth. But now that I’m older and wiser (:D), I’ve become religious with taking care of myself in certain areas. I still have a lot to work on but I’m on the right path.
